House Rules and FAQ
Welcome to Ark — your creative canvas. To keep things running smoothly for all our guests, we’ve outlined a few key policies and answers to common questions. Please review before booking.
🗓 Booking Policy
Your session isn’t confirmed until the deposit is in.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Without it, your requested time remains open to others. Once we receive your deposit, you’ll get a confirmation and the studio is all yours for that slot.
❌ Cancellation Policy
Life happens. Just let us know in time.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your booking will not receive a deposit refund. If you cancel earlier than that, you may choose to have your deposit refunded or credited toward a future booking.
⏱ Rental Time & Studio Access
Minimum rental: 1 hour.
Your rental period should include all setup and tear-down time — please plan accordingly.
Access to the studio is strictly limited to your booked window. You cannot arrive early or stay late unless you’ve received prior permission from the Ark team. Overtime is billed in 30-minute increments.
🚪 Arrival Details
Studio entry instructions will be sent 24 hours before your session.
Depending on your booking, you’ll either receive a door code or be greeted by a team member on-site.
🧼 Clean-Up Policy
Please leave the space as you found it.
Basic clean-up is part of your rental. If the studio is left in poor condition, a cleaning fee will be applied.
🍕 Food & Drink
Snacks welcome — messes, not so much.
You’re welcome to bring food and beverages into the studio, but please avoid messy or strong-smelling items. All items must be kept on the tables by the windows. No food and drink close to the equipment. All trash should be disposed of properly before you leave. Spills or stains may result in a cleaning fee, so keep it tidy and respectful of the space.
📸 Gear & Studio Property
Handle with care — you break it, you buy it.
If you or your team accidentally damage any studio equipment, furniture, or fixtures during your session, you’ll be responsible for the repair or replacement costs. Please treat the space and its contents with respect, and let us know immediately if something gets damaged.
🔊 Music & Volume
Keep it creative — not disruptive.
Music is allowed and encouraged, but please keep volume at a reasonable level. This is a shared building, and we ask that you’re mindful of neighboring tenants. If you're planning to bring amplified sound or play live instruments, please clear it with the Ark team in advance.
